Game 1 is done and we have started the new season. There were a few surprises and then a lot of the usual suspects!

Scott Meldrum starts off Season 1 with his 1st win in the 7pm game! He was heads up with Wendee and it was exciting! The finishes are as follows-

The 10 pm game was equally exciting and gave Mark Stenger more points! Brian and Allison were heads up and pocket 33's from Brian held up for the win!

Well the Season 5 tourney is over and we can all congratulate Matt on an awesome finish! Matt and Brandi were heads up, but Matt's exceptional poker skills and talent helped him to pull down the title! Brandi played some awesome poker tonight and was amazing to watch! Additional congrats to Dan Gray with a 3rd place finish and Jill Lord who finished 4th. Josh Hepker took home the honor of FIRST OUT this tourney. There were many exciting moments throughout the night!

Best Hand Tourney November 5, 2008 Start 7:30 Buy-in $20.00 $3.00 of the buy-in will go into a Best Hand Pot. We will keep track of the best hands and at the end of the tourney, the BEST HAND wins the additional pot. We will also pay out the top 3 in the tourney. We will run this tourney during the Season 5 Final Tourney. (1 inside/1 outside table) Seating is limited to 16. First come, first served. See you there!! Suzi and Brian

You know the one thing I will say about our group is that we definitely know how to have fun and there is never a shortage of creativity. Sexy cop, pregnant nun, the 70’s porn star with a BIG fro and Jesus were just a few of the fabulous costumes at this year’s Halloween tourney. Even the gnome got into the party! There is lots of evidence of the fun in the Media Gallery! We got to see a lot of faces that we have not seen in a long time. Which include Jay and Dan!! Dan Grey won the first game and he was heads up with Allison as we said goodnight after Brian’s 3rd place finish. I was 2nd in the 1st game and Steve T got 3rd place!

It was a great night of poker and plenty of folks got much needed points! (me included) I am sure we will see some updated standings before Wednesday.

Wednesday night at Jack and Patty’s is the final night for points! I am sure we will have a large turnout!

It finally happened. After 5 times of being heads up, Brian finally managed to win against Brandi!

Wednesday night's second game was a wild ride. This of course is coming from the person who finished 6th, just outside of the points. Chris Scull continue to live another day over & over again! He finished 3rd. Allison had a 4th place finish and Paul Fan got points with 5th point finish. But the excitement started when Brian and Brandi went heads up. Brian was scared. In 4 other matches, he could not make it happen. But tonight, he finally BEAT THAT GIRL! Did I mention that Brandi's hubby finished in 1st, the 1st game! Crazy! This is Brian 2nd win in two weeks.
